Google has just introduced a new experimental feature that is similar to Facebook like button called +1 button. The main aim of this feature is to improve the Google’s search experience.
Since this is an experimental feature you need to “Join this experiment” before you can see it on the search result page. Go to Google Experimental page and click Join this experiment.
Next search for something on Google, and on the results page (SERP) you will see a small box with +1 sign beside each result. When you click on one that you like, a pop-up window will open asking you to confirm.
After confirmation you will see that the color of the +1 sign turns blue.
This also adds an extra +1 tab to you Google’s personal profile tab that you can show to the world.
You can even embed the +1 button in your website and Google is also planning to implement this on Adsense Ads. To know more just watch this video.
