Today in Mountain View, CA, Google announced a new social networking tool called Google Buzz, though which we will be able to share richly integrated photos, videos and links publicly or privately. It will be built right into Gmail, so users can have the advantage of utilising the same set of friends.

Google claims that since Buzz integrates tightly with Gmail inbox, we will be able to see the material that matters most as it happens in real time.
It looks like Google Buzz is going to be a mixture of Facebook, Twitter, FriendsFeed and other similar social network sites. Although Google already has social networking sites like Orkut, its popularity and utility has never been similar to Facebook or Twitter and since Buzz will be integrated with Gamil, the problem of building a social networking site from scratch will be eliminated as it can be accessed by millions of Gamil users.
Google Buzz has also extended the service to mobile phone users. Now you can not only share what you are doing but also your geographical location while you are on the move.
